SUMMARY:Join the Nordic battery gathering in Brussels on the 17th-19th of March for “an introduction to Brussels” and Giga Europe
DESCRIPTION:The geopolitical landscape is changing\, and the EU is more important than ever for the Nordic battery ecosystem. New political ambitions\, framework conditions and financing mechanisms are being crafted and will be announced with the New Green Industrial Deal the 27th of February. \nAt the battery conference Giga Europe on the 18th and 19th of March\, many EU stakeholders within the battery ecosystem – politicians\, regulators and companies – will be speaking (see agenda here: Giga Europe 2025). \nThe Swedish Energy Agency will be present with a booth as well as a Nordic presence on stage at Giga Europe. This is an excellent opportunity for Nordic companies to understand more of the landscape\, to engage with EU stakeholders (both companies and relevant authorities) as well as to strengthen the bonds within the Nordics. \nAhead of Giga Europe\, on the 17th of March\, the Nordic Battery Collaboration (organized by Business Sweden\, Business Finland and Innovation Norway and supported by Nordic Innovation) wish to gather Nordic companies within the battery ecosystem to learn more about the European ambitions and initiatives. \nPartnering with the European Battery Alliance / InnoEnergy as well as the Swedish Energy Agency\, we will gather from 2 PM at in order to network and gain insights on the work of the EU commission and the consequences for the Nordic and European battery industry – including financing.
